What is Faria?

Faria is a digital marketplace that connects users with professional suppliers and service providers. Users can book services, track their orders, and confirm completion using a secure barcode system.

How do I place an order?

  • Open the Faria app

  • Choose a service or vendor

  • Select your preferred date and time

  • Confirm your booking

  • Track your vendor’s arrival through the app

What is the barcode scan used for?

The vendor scans your barcode at the end of the service.
This confirms that:

✔  The service was delivered
✔  You are satisfied with the result
✔  The order is completed and closed

Once the barcode is scanned, no complaints or refunds can be accepted for that service.

Can I cancel my order?

Order cancellation depends on the vendor’s specific cancellation policy, which is shown in the app before booking.

In general:

  • If the vendor allows free cancellation, you may cancel within the allowed timeframe.

  • If the vendor charges a cancellation fee, it will be displayed before confirming the cancellation.

  • If the vendor does not allow cancellation after a certain stage, you must follow their terms.

However:

🚫 After the vendor scans your barcode, cancellation is not possible.

Barcode scan = service completed and accepted.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds follow the vendor’s refund policy unless the issue is caused by platform-related problems.

Refunds may be allowed in cases such as:

  • Vendor no-show

  • Vendor cancels

  • User cancels within vendor’s allowed timeframe

  • Technical or payment errors

Refunds are not allowed after barcode scan.

How do I pay?

Faria supports:

  • Credit/debit cards

  • Apple Pay

  • Faria Wallet

How do I know my booking is confirmed?

You will receive:

  • Instant confirmation in the app

  • SMS or email notification

  • Booking details under “My Orders”

What if the vendor is late or does not show up?

If the vendor is late or does not arrive:

  • The user may cancel according to the vendor’s terms

  • The user may request a refund if vendor is at fault

  • Faria may intervene if the vendor is unresponsive

Can I rate vendors?

IYes. After each completed service, users can leave a rating and review to help maintain quality.

How does vendor payment settlement work?

Faria collects payments from users and settles to vendors automatically after deducting the agreed commission.

Are vendors verified?

Yes. All vendors go through an approval process including:

  • Documentation review

  • Commercial Registration or Freelance Certificate validation

  • Quality check

  • Identity verification

Can I change my booking after it’s confirmed?

Changes depend on the vendor’s terms.
Some allow adjustments, others require cancellation and rebooking.

What if the service quality is poor?

Before barcode scan:

  • You can submit a complaint through the app

  • Faria will review your case

After barcode scan:

  • The service is considered fully accepted

  • Complaints or refunds cannot be processed

How do I become a vendor?

You can apply through the Faria Vendor App.
You will need:

  • Commercial Registration (CR) or Freelance Certificate

  • Government Identification

  • Bank details

  • Service portfolio
